July 2025 Visa Bulletin

2025-06-11

The U.S. Department of State has officially published the Visa Bulletin for July 2025, offering moderate advancement in select employment-based green card categories but leaving many applicants still waiting for meaningful progress.

While some categories, such as EB-3 for All Chargeability Areas, have moved forward by a few months, critical categories like EB-2 for India and EB-5 for India remain unchanged—continuing the trend of deep backlogs for high-demand countries.

Employment-Based Green Card Updates

USCIS Filing Guidance for June 2025

The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has confirmed that it will use the Final Action Dates chart for employment-based filings and the Dates for Filing chart for family-sponsored cases during the month of July.

Applicants are advised to review their priority dates carefully before submitting adjustment of status applications.

Global Implications

The July bulletin reinforces a familiar reality for global applicants — particularly those from high-volume countries like India and China — where movement continues at a slow pace. Despite modest progress in a few categories, significant backlogs persist, especially in the EB-2 and EB-3 categories for India.

For applicants from rest-of-world countries, however, the bulletin may present a timely chance to act, especially in categories like EB-1, EB-3, and F-2A.
